
CULINARY ARTS
LONG-TERM PROGRAM



This program applies knowledge and skills in food preparation, especially culinary arts, with learning related to sanitation in service, food nutrition, and the basics of Malaysian and international cuisine.
This program also focuses on the basics of food and beverage presentation, menu planning, bread and pastry preparation, commercial food service operations and food and beverage cost control.
The course content offered includes academic, theoretical and practical subjects in the field of Culinary Arts.
WORK PATH
Upon completion of this program, graduates can continue their studies to a higher level, namely the Malaysian Skills Diploma (Level 4) and the Culinary Arts Diploma at any recognized local and private higher education institution throughout Malaysia and abroad.
JOB PROSPECTS
Upon successful completion of this program, graduates of the Malaysian Technical Skills Academy will be able to work in the fields of "Assistant Chef, Catering Service Provider, Personal Chef, Food Supplier".
